Commemorative Film, Brochure, and Website Unveiled
Sacramento, CA -- The California Organization of Police and Sheriffs (COPS) today launched their 30th Anniversary Celebration with the release of a film on DVD and brochure commemorating the event. In addition, COPS has launched a new website (log on at www.cops.cc).
This unique and in-depth ten minute film features testimonials from U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein, former Senate Minority Leader Jim Brulte and Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca. The film directed by Julian Mulvey is being hailed as an award winning tribute to peace officers.
COPS Executive Director Monty Holden stated, “The COPS story is a remarkable one. COPS is the most favorable law enforcement organization because we have earned the respect of peace officers and the citizens they are sworn to protect. When it comes to COPS our friends say it best.”
After 30 years of hard work, COPS invites you to join in our celebration by enjoying our Anniversary DVD and brochure. Please log onto our new website and take a tour. In addition to the video, the new website features the COPS Blog highlighting commentary on public safety issues.
COPS represents the interests of over 100,000 active and retired Peace Officers and over 1 Million citizen members in California and Nevada.
