COPS is working hard to build bridges of trust between cops and communities by sponsoring programs including COPS Citizen Membership, Anti-Terrorism Law Enforcement Response Training (ALERT), Law Enforcement Apprenticeship Program (LEAP), California Police K-9 Trials and Championship, Police Expo, the Police Unity Tour for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, COPS Awards honoring heroes in law enforcement, Scholarship Programs and Don’t Drink and Drive Campaign.
